Technical Assistance for filing claims with Gulf Coast Claims Facility

The Deepwater Horizon BP oil drilling disaster has affected the livelihoods of many Vietnamese Americans who depend on the Gulf and its seafood for survival. At MQVN CDC, we feel a great need to provide assistance and guide those affected through these times of disaster. Bilingual technical assistance providers are available in our office daily from 9AM-5PM. Services include assistance to fill in claim applications, obtain necessary and alternate documentations, and explanation of timeline of emergency and final payments. Our staff can also provide other resources, such as referrals to other bilingual technical assistance providers, workforce development information, and application for SNAPS benefits (formerly known as food stamps).
