The corridor has an abundance of businesses that serve family needs, with multiple Health clinics, dentist offices, and pharmacies. Several small grocery stores along the corridor provide familiar foods and household basics to the Vietnamese and Latino populations; also drawing visitors from throughout the city for cultural food options not found elsewhere.

Highly rated restaurants like Dong Phuong, Pho Bang, and Ba Mien are just around the corner, and are often packed with both local residents and visitors from throughout the city. Every year during Carnival, people from throughout the area line up and await the King Cakes from Dong Phuong Bakery, which has topped lists of the best king cakes in the city. Usually also around that time of year, the Mary Queen of Vietnam Church hosts the largest celebration of Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, in the area.
